Melissa Valdellon

O.D., F.A.A.O.

I am a licensed optometrist, mentor, and author.

I am currently one of the clinical faculty at the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry and Vision Science at UC Berkeley, where I work with students who are solidifying their examination skills and knowledge before graduation. I am also a mentor and coach to newly (and not-as-newly) graduated optometrists.

I believe that there is such thing as a healthy work-life balance. I help clients on their optometric journey achieve mental, physical, and emotional well-being. I am here to provide personal mentorship and accountability for the clinician’s  optometric journey as they overcome obstacles and work towards a happier, more meaningful, balanced life.
