It may seem strange topic for today, this day of Thanksgiving that many of us are celebrating today, but when it comes down to it, I am grateful for the circle of life with its beginnings and endings. Both give you the opportunity to move on and provide inspiration for you to do something.
Black Tourmaline comes today with its supportive grounding and clearing energy, helping you rid yourself of any fears or negative thoughts you have around change and death. Take a few moments right now to root yourself deeply into the earth and settle down until you’re still. Then imagine those roots, which have Black Tourmaline’s energy supporting them, draining you of these fears or beliefs that you’re ready to release today for transmutation down within the earth’s core. Know that nothing can be changed or let go of without your permission but the invitation is there to release what you no longer need. Plug in and let go.
Many of us have an inherent fear around death and dying. It makes us realize that life is too short and that we each have so much we want to do, want to accomplish and gain before our time ends for this round. Yet, there is a dignity that arises in those facing death imminently. For those who know that their days are limited, they are sometimes better able to set their affairs in order and then have the freedom to do what they want with their remaining time.
For myself, I am grateful for the hospice care my father and my family was able to receive. We may not have utilized the service in its entirety, but I am grateful for those caregivers who came to help share some of the burden of caring for a man whose days were cut short by aggressive cancer. Working in a health care field is not an easy choice, and it’s not any easier entering a field where most of the individuals you’re dealing with are facing death. For those hospice providers, I thank you today.
