It’s the eve of the summer solstice, the longest day of the year for those of us in the northern hemisphere. What will you do to celebrate the lovely day, with its light and warmth and life?
Red Jasper urges you to enjoy at least part of your day outdoors. Get grounded in nature, be that at the park or in the woods or the beach or the mountains – wherever you can go to enjoy real fresh air, go and enjoy the sunshine, the breeze, the sounds and smells of nature. Walk barefoot in the grass or dip your feet into the ocean if you can. Really, truly, get outside.
Blue Quartz chimes in with that call to go outside and look up to the sky. Too much of our time is spent indoors, in the car, on our phones, etc. and we don’t get to witness the grandeur that is the sky above. Watch the clouds pass by, see the birds as they fly overhead, notice what you feel when you actually look up and see if that puts your troubles and stresses into perspective.
Lastly, Carnelian adds to today’s message by reiterating this month’s message of joy and life. What brings fire and passion and joy to you? How can you add some of that magic to your day today and the summer season ahead?
Remember, you have a divine right to a life of happiness and joy. Claim it because it really is yours to have.
