With summer winding down and transitioning into autumn, there can often be a time of anticipation with the weather and season change. Life can be hectic – end of summer BBQs, start of school, taking advantage of the last of the warmth before we start donning on long-sleeves and pants over t-shirts and shorts.
Do what you can to nurture yourself, your body, your senses, your relationships with others. Stilbite encourages you to move through your days consciously with love and grace. Hold back from the quick judgment, the quick criticism, especially toward those you love, and that includes yourself.
Consider keeping “Namaste” as an internal mantra for you for one day, and consciously practice seeing the divine spark in every being you meet and interact with. And don’t just use it in greeting or goodbye – try to keep it going throughout your conversations. See if that helps shift your words toward positivity and beauty. And most of all, have fun with this exercise. Keep it light. Be gentle and loving. Your gestures create changes grander than you can imagine.
