Well, I had honestly been hoping for a more driving kind of energy today but as today’s pull indicates, it’s more of another accepting and learning kind of day.
Opals are delicate stones that assist in stimulating originality and dynamic creativity. It aids in accessing and expressing one’s true self. Psychologically, Opal amplifies traits and brings characteristics to the surface for transformation. Enhancing self-worth, it helps you to understand your full potential. It encourages putting out positive emotions.
With its pink color, this particular type of Opal can be used to activate the heart chakra while providing both centering and grounding, since the color is deeply associated with love and compassion. This reiterates Opal’s message of self-acceptance and love, giving insight into ways that will help to enhance one’s emotional, spiritual, and intellectual self.
To complement today’s stone, what jumps out of today’s card, Patience & Planning, is the whirlwind of leaves and debris behind the two columns. For me, this signifies another stirring and clearing up of the old in preparation for the new. Today is a day for active, inner contemplation, recognizing the patterns and beliefs that truly aren’t serving us any longer and letting them go. Even if the “junk” is in the background, not anywhere near the surface of anything where we think others may be able to perceive it, the fact that it’s still there is, in some ways, limiting us from fully moving forward into full greatness and glory. A part of us continues to spend energy hiding it away, tucking it in a corner to “deal with later.”
Well, that later is now. It’s time to address those old stories and accept the messages and lessons to be learned from them, despite the pain, sorrow, or whatever other emotion comes up. We will come out better and stronger as a result.
