Fire vs. water. The spark of energy behind creation vs. going with the flow with what already is. Feeling the relentless need to do more, be more, have more vs. feeling the need to just stop and take care of yourself for even a few moments.
For the moment, I want you to check in with how you’re feeling right now, this very moment. Do you feel like you’re mostly on one end of the spectrum or the other? How does it feel to recognize where you are? Does any sort of judgement come up about this? Do you feel like you want to change this feeling? Do you feel like you can even do so? Do you have the right to change how you feel?
Aquamarine comes first to help soothe this dichotomy for you today by first connecting you with the vast energies of the oceans. Think of the ocean’s gentle waters and let that soothing energy flow in and through you, particularly around your heart center, until you feel refreshed and still.
And from that stillness, connect now with your Sacral Chakra. From that energy center of your body, draw warmth and fire and creativity. Swirl that energy up and through you for inspiration and motivation.
You need both fire and water to move through life. Both keep you going. Both refresh and revitalize in their respective manners. Whenever you feel off-balance or stretched between too many duties and obligations, ask these respective energies to help re-balance you. Calm down and cleanse with water energy when you’re feeling overwhelmed and distracted. Connect with fire when you’re feeling sluggish or unmotivated. You have what it takes to keep moving forward. Just take that extra moment for yourself here and there, and know that I can help support you if and when you need it.
Speaking of support – did you get my request for assistance a few days ago? I’m asking for you to let me know of any organizations, charities, or groups you’d like for me to potentially write about. Next month, I will be focusing on 30 days of gratitude, and each day, as I highlight something I am particularly grateful for, I would like to showcase a cause that demonstrates or embodies what I am grateful for. Things I’m grateful for include the obvious things like shelter, food, water, education, but they also include things the arts, nature, technology.
I would greatly appreciate your help if you could send me at least one cause you’re fond or proud of and I can see if I can write about it someway. Thank you, thank you!
