So I know I’ve been quiet as of late but that’s because I dedicated about a week to focus on studying for my California license exam. Thankfully, I passed so that’s done. Now it’s time to switch gears and continue working on my book.
The lesson here for me? Give each task it’s due time and focus. Jumping back and forth between projects wasn’t being efficient for me and nothing was getting done in the end. So rather than jump in and start editing right when my editor gave me back my manuscript, I set it aside. My license was first. I needed to take the test so I can finally start applying for fill in work to keep me busy. Now that’s done, I can go on to another project while I wait for said license to come.
Don’t rush things. On the other end, don’t be lazy. Do what you need to do and put your whole heart and effort to it, one project at a time. It all works out =)
