With all the hard work involved this month, it may have been easy to become harsh and judgmental of yourself as you realize what you’ve been holding onto all this time. It may be easy to become harsh and judge those whose ideas and advice and thoughts you took on over your lifetime as well. Rather than hang on to that criticism though and moan and gripe over what was, take this moment to recognize it all for how it has shaped you into who you are today and then let it go.
Pink Opal is a great heart crystal that can help you release old patterns that are no longer useful or necessary (did I mention that this process will always be continuing and isn’t just relegated to this month, though it is this month’s focus?). Its connection with the heart chakra will also help you should you find it difficult to face challenge and change. God, Universe, the cosmos, your guides, and then some are all on your side as you work through these emotions, these thoughts, these stories. Call on them and ask for guidance and support this time. They are all ready and more than willing to help.
So back to the process – it is not an easy one, and I commend you for incorporating this practice of reflection and mindfulness. It’s often very difficult to discern what is True and untrue for you when your mind has been programmed to do the same acceptable thing day to day to day. Be gentle with yourself and take your time. You have believed some of these things for most of your lifetime – the likelihood of letting it all go in one setting, though possible, is unlikely as you move through the stages of acknowledgement, processing, letting go, mourning, and healing. If it happens, great! If not, show yourself (and those around you on the same journey) compassion. Certainly, we can all deal with more of that love and kindness in our lives, right?
